YOUR RIGHTS ARE REAL — If you are a California resident, you have legally protected rights over your personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. We are committed to honoring every valid request promptly, free of charge, and without discrimination.

Section 1

Your Rights as a California Resident

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the following rights regarding their personal information:

Right to Know
Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, including the purposes for collection and any third parties with whom it was shared.
Right to Delete
Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., completing a transaction, legal obligations, security purposes).
Right to Correct
Request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you, taking into account the nature of the information and the purposes for which it is processed.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing
Request that we stop selling or sharing your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
Right to Limit Sensitive PI Use
Request that we limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information to purposes necessary to provide our services.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised any of your privacy rights.

How to Submit a Request

You may submit a privacy rights request using any of the following methods:

Method 1 · Online Request Form

Complete and submit the request form below. We recommend this method for fastest processing.

Method 2 · Email

Send a written request to privacy@voidarcade.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request". Please include your full name, the email address associated with your account, and the specific right(s) you wish to exercise.

Section 3

Identity Verification

To protect your personal information and prevent unauthorized access, we are required to verify your identity before processing most requests. The verification process depends on the type and sensitivity of the request:

  • Standard requests (Know, Correct, Opt-Out): We will verify by matching the email address you provide against your account records.
  • Deletion requests: We may require additional verification, such as confirming account details or responding to a verification email.
  • Highly sensitive requests: We may require a two-step verification process before disclosing specific pieces of personal information.
  • We will not require you to create an account solely to exercise your rights, but if you have an existing account, we may use it for verification.
  • If we cannot verify your identity within a reasonable time, we may deny the request and will notify you of the reason.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy rights request on your behalf. To do so:

  • The authorized agent must provide written proof of authorization, such as a signed permission form or power of attorney.
  • We may contact you directly to verify that you have authorized the agent to act on your behalf.
  • Submit authorized agent requests to privacy@voidarcade.com with the subject line "Authorized Agent — California Privacy Request".
  • Include both your information and the agent's contact information in the request.

Our Response & Timeline

45 Days standard response · extendable to 90 Days with notice

Upon receiving a verifiable consumer request, we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days.
  • Provide a substantive response within 45 calendar days of receiving the request.
  • If we require additional time (up to 90 days total), we will inform you of the reason and extension period within the initial 45-day window.
  • Responses will be delivered in a portable, readily usable format where applicable.
  • We will not charge a fee for processing your request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. We will notify you before charging any fee.
  • You may make up to two requests per 12-month period at no charge.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. Specifically, we will not:

  • Deny you access to Void Arcade or its services.
  • Charge you a different price or rate for services, including through discounts, penalties, or different levels of service.
  • Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
  • Suggest that you will receive a different price or quality of goods or services by exercising your rights.

After submitting, you will receive a confirmation at the email address you provided. We may follow up to verify your identity before processing your request.
